那时只有马来亚，东马未加入
马来西亚还未诞生
一直到1963年9月16日。
首相喊Satu Malaysia
终于喊出了一个假期
一个东马的父亲如斯回答：
唉！此事一言难尽
当年，有四个傻蛋
被游说加入一个集团同煲同捞
后来一个发现事有蹊跷临阵退出
后来一个被发现是穷光蛋而出局
后来自行创业成功变成富翁
而剩下两个富有的傻蛋
最后被剥成了穷光蛋。
这样的历史教训值得纪念吧？
我的回答如斯：
噢！那是一个夜黑风高的晚上
安华发动的916变天失败
国阵保住了政权大事庆祝
因而列为公共假期。

Many government servants are happy as 916 is declared as Public holiday !
Many workers are happy as they can enjoy extra day off with pay !
Many employees of private sectors and industries are happy as they work could have double or triple days pay !
Therefore it is wise to declare 916 as public holiday as many people has benefited.
But do you know Malaysia having the most Public holidays in this region,
Do you know for each day of non-working day, government revenue income has been suffering hugh lost !
Do you know how much the productions and man power force being involved on each extra day off !
And finally the people tends to be lazy, less efficient and higer cost incurred in each respective activitiy of business in Malaysia.
